UNE ETUDE D'ANALYSE DES REGLES PHONETIQUES ASSOCIEES A LA PRONONCIATION DES CHIFFRES EN FRANÇAIS ET EN ANGLAIS

Résumé :
Cet article propose une étude approfondie des règles phonétiques qui régissent la prononciation des chiffres en français et en anglais. La prononciation correcte des chiffres revêt une importance cruciale dans la communication quotidienne, en particulier lorsqu'il s'agit d'énoncer des numéros de téléphone, des dates ou des quantités. Cependant, la prononciation des chiffres peut varier considérablement d'une langue à l'autre. Ainsi, cette étude vise à analyser les différences et les similitudes phonétiques entre le français et l'anglais, en se concentrant sur la prononciation des chiffres. En examinant les règles phonétiques spécifiques à chaque langue, cette étude permettra de mieux comprendre les défis auxquels les apprenants étrangers sont confrontés lorsqu'ils
tentent de prononcer correctement les chiffres dans ces deux langues.

Abstract
This article offers an in-depth study of the phonetic rules that govern the pronunciation of numbers in French and English. The correct pronunciation of numbers is of crucial importance in everyday communication, especially when it comes to stating telephone numbers, dates or quantities. However, the pronunciation of numbers can vary greatly from language to language. Thus, this study aims to analyze the phonetic differences and similarities between French and English, focusing on the pronunciation of numbers. By examining the phonetic rules specific to each language, this study will provide insight into the challenges foreign learners face
when trying to pronounce numbers correctly in these two languages.
